Summer Camps
Kids & Teens Day-Camp
Rainbow Express is a weeklong day camp offered each summer at Matthews United Methodist Church to serve children and youth with special needs, as they "team up" with youth and other children. This camp is designed, organized and led by students as an outreach ministry.
In addition, there are adult staff trained in various specialty areas including speech, music, occupational and physical therapy.
Children are able to experience and discover God's love through "hands-on" sensory activities, music, crafts, puppetry, stories, physical challenges, recreation and personal relationships.

Young Adult Evening Camp
Since 2014, Rainbow Express Camp has been offered on the evenings of “camp week” at Matthews United Methodist Church. Young Adult campers and volunteers share meals, go on fun outings around town, study the Bible, and worship together.
