Our Programs

Rainbow Express Ministries offers a variety of programming opportunities on both an annual and weekly basis. Some of these offerings are age group or program member-specific and others are open to the public.

Rainbow Express Camp is a weeklong day camp offered each summer at Matthews United Methodist Church to serve children and youth with special needs, as they "team up" with youth and other children. This camp is designed, organized and led by students as an outreach ministry.

Over the past six years Rainbow Express Ministries has established a partnership with the Wings of Hope family in Jacmel, Haiti. Each year we have worked alongside the staff of Wings of Hope in offering Rainbow Express day camp.

Rainbow Express Ministries offers opportunities for young adults with disabilities to belong to a community where they can build friendships and explore, develop and share their gifts and abilities. This includes daily gatherings three times a week, serving others, retreats, Bible study, and fellowship.

Consultant Work

Luke 14 calls the church to invite and welcome all persons. Does your church have the desire to create a disability ministry or a desire to reimagine/reenergize an existing disability ministry? If so, Rainbow Express Ministries is available to come alongside your church in a consultant role.

Join us in worship at Matthews United Methodist Church!

We offer special needs Sunday School classes for children (9:30 & 11:00am), teens (9:30 & 11:00am) and young adults (9:30am).

Upcoming worship schedule can be seen here!

Get Involved

Rainbow Express Ministries is able to happen because of our volunteers. There is a place for you to get involved with our ministry no matter what! We are in need of your presence in volunteering during the weekly young adult group/summer camps, your resources, and your prayers.
