Our group was able to spend an AWESOME few days in Ocean Isle thanks to the generosity of our friends, Ingram and Missy Walters! We made this video to thank them, and wanted to share it with y'all as well. The super talented James Ross threw this video together for us and it rocks - we hope you enjoy it too!

Matthews United Methodist launched a ministry for people with special needs and their families and we are super excited! It will be called Rainbow Ark - Sunday school classes and resources for families with a child or family member with special needs. Want more information? Head on over to the church website to find Sunday school classes and their times/location! Information and registration at the following link: http://www.matthewsumc.org/special-needs-ministry/

CAMP 2017 WAS AMAZING!!!!! What a week! Our theme was "I Belong," and we learned about how with God we are saved, fully known, loved and so many other things. We ready stories about Mephebosheth, Noah's Ark, the lost sheep, and more. We learned more and more about Jesus' love for us and how He will always be there for us. Our days were filled with music, Chick-Fil-A, bowling, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, and so much more! Take a look below at some of our pictures. If you want to see ALL of our camp pictures, head on over to our Rainbow Express Ministries Facebook page! The biggest thank you to The MUMC Youth for partnering with us. We cannot even begin to thank everyone for such an AWESOME week, but we are truly thankful for every volunteer, young adult, driver, youth, church staff, and more that helped us pull off the best week. WOOHOO!

Above is a picture of Rainbow Express Camp 2017 in Haiti! We helped put on a camp for around 50 campers and 100 community members so that they were able to learn more and more about Jesus Christ. What an AMAZING week!!!

Summer Camp

Rainbow Express is a weeklong day camp offered each summer at Matthews United Methodist Church to serve children and youth with special needs, as they team up with youth and other children. This camp is designed, organized and led by students as an outreach ministry.

Haiti Partnership

Over the past four years Rainbow Express has established a partnership with the Wings of Hope family in Fermathe, Haiti. Each year we have worked alongside the staff of Wings of Hope in offering Rainbow Express day camp.

Young Adult Group

Rainbow Express Ministries offers opportunities for young adults with disabilities to belong to a community where they can build friendships and explore, develop and share their gifts and abilities. This includes daily gatherings three times a week, serving others, retreats, bible study, and fellowship.
